SATURN IN FEBRUARY

Saturn is now a morning sky object again but can't be seen for long. At the start of the month it can be seen rising around 05.30 but is quickly lost to the Sun around an hour later. Towards the end of the month it rises around 4.30 giving a little more time for viewing.


The image shows its location at 05:45 on the 16th.
