M57 is a planetary nebula.
So named because they mostly appear small and round like a planet.
They are in fact stars that have collapsed in on themselves and shed off their outer layers.
Taken 2/1/18. 30x 90 sec lights and combined with thr usually darks, flats and bias frames. Processed in Pixinsight & Cs6
