The Moon & Mars

08/08/2020 @ 11:30 pm – 09/08/2020 @ 3:30 am Europe/London Timezone

Mars can be seen close to the Moon on the evening of the 8th! The pair will become visible from around 23:30 in the East, they can be seen until dawn breaks when they are lost to daylight in the South. The closest approach is at 09:00 on the 9th however the pair won’t be visible. They do however still appear close together on the evening of the 9th so worth looking out for.

The image shows their location at 23:30 on the 8th
